# January 2025

## Admin Dashboard -User Policy Engine and more

Our January release includes significant improvements that will empower you to have more control, flexibility, and efficiency in managing your users and workflow. Let’s dive into what’s new:

### **Features 🔥**

### **User Policies Engine 🚀**

* **User Roles → User Policies:** The new **User Policies Engine** is here to provide you with more control over how user permissions are managed within FenixPyre. With this upgrade, we’ve replaced the old user roles system with a more flexible and customizable approach. You can now set up a **default policy** for all users, migrate existing roles seamlessly, and even assign multiple policies to a single user for more precise control.

#### **Refreshed Dashboard UI 🖥️**

* Explore the new dashboard UI, which features a sleek, modern dashboard with a more intuitive layout and enhanced user experience. This will make your workflow smoother and faster.

#### **User Groups 📂**

* FenixPyre now supports **user groups**, allowing you to organize users more efficiently and manage permissions in a more streamlined way. Create groups based on departments, teams, or roles, and assign policies to entire groups with ease. [Discover how to use Groups.](broken://pages/TqUrJsd5Mf6srrhvB9y6)

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.fenixpyre.com/release-notes/fenixpyre-cloud-releases/january-2025.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
