# How to decrypt files

## Step 1: Access the Files

### Encrypting Files in OneDrive/Sharepoint <a href="#encryptingdecrypting-files-in-onedrive" id="encryptingdecrypting-files-in-onedrive"></a>

Navigate to the desired files, right-click, and select:\
**FenixPyre > Decrypt**&#x20;

## Step 2: Decryption Progress

A new browser window will open, displaying a progress meter. Once the decryption is completed, a confirmation message will appear indicating your data is unencrypted.

*These actions can be repeated to decrypt  files as necessary*&#x20;

## Additional Notes

* There is a limit of **500 files** that can be  decrypted at one time.
* Only file extensions specified in the user’s designated role can be decrypted.
