# How to encrypt files

**Step 1: Create or Open a Share Link**

* **Option 1**: Create a new share link with edit access from any supported cloud provider.
* **Option 2**: Open an **existing share link** with edit access in your browser.

**Step 2: Upload the File**

* Locate the **Upload** button at the top right of the shared link page.
* Click the button and upload the file you wish to encrypt.

**Step 3: Automatic Encryption**

* Once the file is uploaded, it will be **automatically encrypted**.

That's it! Your file is now securely encrypted.
